Day 8 of PLL Free Agency

Two important moves today, but they are from the two teams that have won the championship over the past two seasons.

The PLL Champion Utah Archers re-signed their All-Pro goalie Brett Dobson. What is there to say about Dobson? After 4 seasons of knocking on PLL imortality the Archers finally achieved that status last year when they won the championship on a wet day outside of Philadelphia. Dobson was a major key to that status after having an incredible season as the full time starter. The Canadian keeper is currently playing in the NLL with the Georgia Swarm who are in 3rd place overall. This signing must have been an easy one for GM Bates.

The other team in the PLL championship game last year was the Waterdogs, playing in what would become their home city the 'Dawgs lost a heartbreaker. This week they kept another versitle piece on the roster. Candian attackman Ethan Walker re-signs keeping the 2023 starting attack line intact for another year. Once again it's important to note head coach Andy Copelan has stepped down and will not be at the helm for the 'Dawgs during the 2024 season. In his role of interim GM, Copelan is keeping all of his former charges in the purple of the Philly Waterdogs. Another day where some key free agents are still available to be signed or re-signed.
