A lot on the line for the players and coaches this week in Utah and a lot on the line for Player Royale participants. There's a chance that the fans of the PLL won’t get to see Lyle Thompson in the playoffs. There's also a chance that the ‘Aos Boys won’t have a chance to repeat as champions and will be watching the playoffs at home. There’s an even smaller chance that the Redwoods won’t be dancin’, but its ROLL WOODS for life, so I know that won't happen. A first-round bye is up for grabs for the Whips who are facing the Atlas, a team that has never beaten them in the four years of the PLL.
For the fans the top three Player Royale teams of the week get to pick a throwback PLL jersey of their choice. If I win, they’ll be shippin’ me one of those TOUGH Redwoods throwbacks. Next choice would be a Lyle throwback or Josh Bryne Chaos jersey.
Now to the fun part, the lineup!

A Lyle Thompson (Tier 1)- The Cannons play the Chrome who are tied for the best scoring defense in the league and that would suggest that I shouldn’t pick Lyle, BUT the Cannons are desperate for a win to stay in the playoff conversation, and I think we will see '4' at another level in Salt Lake. As a backup Kieran McArdle has been BIG BALLIN’ in the last few weeks I would not be surprised if he puts up big numbers against the ‘Woods especially without Ryan Brown. You will however see a sad writer if that outcome occurs.
M Dhane Smith (Tier 1)- The Chaos' offense has picked up in the last few weeks, but the midfielder spot is always a hot and cold position. Smith will probably have the pole matchup, but the Chaos do a great job of isolating him on Short-Sticks.
D Jarrod Neumann (Tier 3) Another Chaos player this week in my lineup. Once again, the D position is usually the spot where I reserve the Teir 3 player. Hopefully, Neumann can get in transition and release some of those Twos like the first season of the PLL.
FO TD Ierlan (Tier 2)- TD has had three solid weeks of production and he will be facing Jake Withers, who is returning from an injury. My normal pick would be Trevor, but he’s facing off against Joe Nardella and I think it will be a 50/50 matchup between the league’s two best faceoff men.
G Blaze Riorden (Tier 2)- You can’t go wrong with Blaze in cage. The Chaos play the Archers, who are one of the best offenses in the league. Dillon Ward has been playing well since he returned to the field, and he has a more favorable matchup than Blaze. I might change this pick just before gametime, I’m really debating this one.
This week I don’t feel as comfortable about my lineup as usual, there’s so much on the line during the Week 10 games you can throw the gameplan out of the window. All I know is that there will good games in Utah.
