PLL Week 8 Throwback Weekend in Denver!

  • After screaming for Koby Smith to be in the Atlas lineup, it is with a heavy heart to say he is out for the rest of the regular season... tough break

  • In Koby's place the Atlas select rookie John Geppert over Craig Chick, interesting move from the Atlas coaching staff.

  • MYLES JONES! The Atlas traded for Myles Jones who did not play the last two weekends for the Redwoods, well he's playing this weekend and rocking the number 8!

  • Trevor Baptiste faces no fellow face-off athlete this week, so how much damage can he do back at his old stomping grounds of Denver University?

  • The rest of the Atlas roster is the same from last weekend.

  • The Archers are their same old dominate self, no changes to their lineup this weekend.

  • Sisselberger faces Connor Farrell at the face-off spot, last time this matchup happened Siss got laid out by Farrell! How will their matchup go this weekend?

  • The best team in the league plays the worst one. Will the Arches keep dominating or will the Chrome get back in the win column?

  • The Cannons have successfully done something that most other teams in the league have not done. They have rotated their poles this season and still continue to win games. Matt Rees drops into the lineup this weekend, while Jacob Pulver is out.

  • No face-off specialist again for the Boom Squad

  • The attack, midfield, and SSDM group are all the same a for good reason they keep winning and producing.

  • The Cannons defense is huge not count 5'9 Rall: Rees 6'4, Old Man Hartzell 6'1, Kielty 6'2, Wayne 6'4, and van Raaphorst 6'1

  • Colin Kirst continues to play well in cage, the second year starter is ballin.

  • The roster is the same this weekend for the Chaos as last. Chris Cloudier put upon heck of a performance against the Redwoods in Baltimore, a game I saw in person.

  • A rematch of the 2020 and 2021 PLL championship games the Chaos have a good chance of getting a win this weekend versus their familiar foe during the throwback weekend in Denver.

  • Battle at the spot is rookie versus rookie this weekend, Rowlett went 47% against LaSalla and the Whipsnakes. The younger Rowlett is sitting at 40% for the season.

  • The Milk Man is back! Number 25 for the Chrome is back in action against the rookie Sisselberger. In their last matchup Farrell went 11-20 for 55% from the face-off spot.

  • Farrell being back means one of the poles drops out and that person is rookie Troy Hettinger.

  • Rookie Sam Handley is dropped from the roster while Cole Williams comes in, the rest of the Chrome midfield is the same.

  • Can the Chrome find some harmony and get another win, maybe the few changes will give them the boost they need.

  • Romar Dennis suits up for the Redwoods after being traded for Myles Jones. He's rocking the number 5 throwback jersey. Kevin Rogers is the odd man out from the midfield for the 'Woods.

  • Owen Grant is still not healthy enough to be on the field for the 'Woods.

  • Last weekend Cole Kirst balled out in Baltimore this weekend he faces his big brother in cage for Cannons.

  • The Redwoods just can't seem to figure things out, I saw and heard it in person last weekend. John Grant Jr. was doing his best but the Redwoods offense stalled out in the fourth quarter and the Chaos got the win.

  • Wes Berg is back in Denver where he won a national championship with the Pios.

  • TD versus whichever pole the Cannons trot out at the face-off spot. Can the Woods offense turn face-off wins into points during the 32 second shot clock?

  • The defending champs make a few changes after their week 7 loss to the Canons.

  • Ryland Rees is back for the Waterdogs. Alex Mazzone had a tough day against the much more experienced Marcus Holman last week in Baltimore.

  • Dillon Ward is back, which means goalie Jason Rose is not on the roster this weekend.

  • Jake Higgins is the lineup as the Waterdogs add a fourth SSDM.

  • No Jake Carraway, or Thomas McConvey who injured in the game last weekend. While rookie Jeff Conner is back with the team.

  • Last time these two teams played each other Connor Kelly WENT OFF, but he's coming back from an injury and I'm not sure his heroics will be able to save the Waterdogs from the dominate performance from Trevor Baptiste at the face-off spot.

  • No changes for the Whipsnakes, but why change what isn't broken. This week is tougher challenge as they face the Chaos.

  • Elijah Gash still has not made an appearance for the Whipsnakes, hope we get to see him soon sometime i'd like to see what the rookie can do against the pros.

  • Are the Whips back, it looks like the Whips are back.

'Used to Play For'

Chaos VS Whipsnakes

  • Will Perry former Whipsnake

Chrome VS Archers

  • Nick Washuta former Chrome

Atlas VS Waterdogs

  • Kieran McArdle and Ryan Conrad are former Atlas both picked up in the 2020 expansion draft.

Cannons VS Redwoods

  • Matt Kavanagh and Kyle Hartzell are former Redwoods. Old Man Hartzell was picked up as a free agent by the Redwoods last season and then this year was picked up by the Cannons a free agent. Matt Savannah was an original Redwood. and it hurt to see him traded to the Cannons before the season started.
