Jared Conners is back in the lineup due to the injury that Jon Robbins sustained. The rest of the league leading Archers are the same.
Siss vs Trevor this week in Baltimore, should be a good matchup at the faceoff spot.
Will the Archers keep their foot on the Atlas' throat and clinch a playoff spot?

This week the Atlas look the same as last week, no changes for the men in powder blue.
Another week, another Koby Smith appearance! This you love to see.
Can the Atlas keep the ball rolling after picking up a win last weekend?

Old Man Hartzell is back for the Boom Squad and Matt Rees drops to the reserve roster. Hartzell is back in his home state near his hometown of Dundalk, Maryland.
No faceoff man again for the Cannons but they are facing the Waterdogs who ALSO don't have a faceoff man. Not sure how that matchup will work. Should be interesting to see that chess matchup. Bet you didn't think there would be two pro-outdoor lacrosse teams playing each other without a faceoff specialist. What a time to be alive.
The Cannons have turned the ship around this season, now sitting at 4-2 and in second place behind the only the Archers.

BIG NEWS no Josh Byrne for the Chaos on Sunday as he's been ruled out due to a rib injury. Chris Cloutier is back on the active roster and Chase Fraser gets bumped up to the reserve roster.
The rest of the Chaos roster is the same from last week in a heart-breaking loss to the Whipsnakes.
A rematch against the Redwoods, but this time with Blaze in cage.
Also, the Chaos are back to capitalizing names for their social posts.

Connor Farrell misses out again this week along with Mike Messenger. The face off specialists are taking it on the shins this season.
Chrome are sitting in last place with just one win this season and are looking for a spark to get them back on track.
Dylan Molloy was released and has not been picked up by another team. He could return to the Chrome before the season is done.
It also appears that Brendan Nicthern may not return to the PLL field this summer due to his military obligations.
The Chrome are moving closer and closer to desperation mode.

No Myles Jones or Sergio Perkovic for the Redwoods, in 2021 that sentence would have been blasphemous.
Chris Merle reappears for the Woods after missing out for a few weeks.
Kevin Rogers and Cole Kirst look like positive additions for the Woods.
Still no Owen Grant for the Redwoods he's still listed as questionable due to a left ankle sprain.
TD vs Rookie Nick Rowlett at the faceoff spot.
Can the Redwoods offense produce more quality possessions and reduce the risk that faces their defense?

Ryland Rees is now missing out of two game weeks in a row, a bit of a surprising choice from coach Copelan.
This week is the return of Connor Kelly, which means Jake Higgins drops out of the lineup. The last time we saw Kelly he went OFF. CK dropped 9 points including the game winning goal, I'm not sure if Kelly will be that hot, he'll probably still be working his way back to full strength.
Only 3 SSDM for the Waterdogs this weekend instead of their typical four. Conrad and Currier are more than capable of taking a few defensive shifts for Dawgs.
This will probably end up being the game of the weekend two 4-2 teams in a battle for second place... or maybe the top spot.

The Whips are almost back to full strength just missing Kyle Bernholr, but that's a big missing piece.
Matt Dunn is listed as doubtful, which means Brett Kennedy will probably see the field again for the Whips against the Chrome.
Brad Smith showed his injury and time off didn't lead to any rust. Smith had four points and added some bite to the Whipsnakes offense.
Brendan Krebs wasn't great against the Chaos, but he wasn't terrible either, 40.7% and 11 saves. Will coach Stagnita switch to the veteran Phipps or stay with Krebs?
'USED TO PLAY FOR'
New segment this week, NBA on TNT, the best sports show on television, has the segment "who he play for?" Ernie Johnson shows a picture of a random NBA player and asks his co-host Charles Barkley to name the current team of that player. It's a hit every time they do the segment at the beginning of the season, and it never fails to produce a laugh from cast and crew and viewers a like. Charles never comes close to getting the correct answers and everybody knows what's coming down the pipeline. This segment, by yours truly, is way less funny, but maybe more informative, each game i'll highlight players that playing against their former teams this week.
Game 1 Archers vs Atlas
No former players for either team in this game.
Game 2 Whipsnakes vs Chrome
Nick Grill current Chrome former Whip. Former Terp and Golden Eagle was drafted by the Whips but was sent to the Chrome in a trade for GUTTY aka Jsutin Guterding. Grill only played two games for the Whips that season.
Game 3 Redwoods vs Chaos
Wes Berg and Myles Jones current Redwoods former Chaos members. Wes Berg pulls double duty here, Berg played for the Chrome and Redwoods during the 2019 season then was taken in the expansion draft by the Waterdogs in 2020. Berg was released by the Waterdogs was then picked by the Chaos and won a championship in 2021, now in 2023 he's back with Woods. Jones was part of coach Nat's second major trade while he's been at the helm, the first was trading for Jules during the 2019 season. Jones was traded for Sergio Salcedo after the 2019 season and has played for the Woods since.
Game 4 Waterdogs vs Cannons
Ryan Drenner current Cannon former Waterdawg. Drenner played the 2019 season for the Whipsnakes was left unprotected and got picked up in the expansion draft of 2020, played the 2020 season on the Waterdogs and then was left unprotected AGAIN during the 2021 expansion draft and was drafted by the Cannons. As a side note Ryan Drenner has produced everywhere he's been and as a pro is still playing out of position since he was an all-American attackman at Towson University and led the Tigers to a final four appearance in 2017 and was one play away from making to the championship game. The Flow God just gets buckets.
