Week 4 in Baltimore of the 2022 PLL season sees the return of players from the NLL Finals. Congrats to the Colorado Mammoth for winning the NLL Championship this season over the Buffalo Bandits. The finish of the NLL season means that some PLL teams get important players back on their gameday rosters.

The team most excited for the finish of the NLL season is Chaos LC/ Buffalo Chaos/ Bandits LC, which ever name you know them by head coach Andy Towers is excited to have four of his top six scorers from last season finally back in the black and red of Chaos. Along with Josh Bryne, Dhane Smith, Chris Cloutier, and Chase Fraser, Coach Towers now has Ian MacKay back in the squad and for the first time in a PLL uniform fans will get to see Tehoka Nanticoke with his bull dodges and slick stick skills. Unfortunately, the Chaos will be without their top face-off man from last year Max Adler, this loss will be felt, but Thomas Kelly is facing off at 47%.

The Archers will see the return of Connor Fields to their offense and Warren Jeffery to their defense. The Archers offense is already buzzing they have the most scores in the league and are shooting 37%, which also leads the league. The Archers’ Power Play is the highest in the league at 60%, which must thrill head coach Chris Bates. Connor Fields joins a loaded offense which has seen the emergence of undrafted rookie Connor DeSimone who has 8 points so far this season. Warren Jeffery’s return means that Scott Ratliff get to return to his natural position of LSM, where he recks havoc on opposing offenses and creates opportunities in transition for the Archers offense. The best defense from 2021 will be happy to have one of their starting defensemen back in the bright orange and blue.

The Waterdogs and head coach Andy Copelan will be excited to have, starting goalie, Dillon Ward back in cage. Ward returning from his NLL Finals MVP performance will be a huge boost to the Waterdogs defense, which sits at 0-3 with a 15.0(SAA) Scores Against Average and a 17% Penalty Kill.

Last but not least the 2020 Championship Series MVP Zedzilla, Zeddy Ballgame, Zed Williams will return to the Whipsnakes offense. The Whips are 3-0 and their offense has not been firing on all cylinders, shooting only 23%. In 2021 Williams had 25 points, which will be much needed for the Whipsnakes.

PLL season four has all the pieces back on the field for week four at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and things are only going to get better from this point. Enjoy the season ladies and gentlemen.
