Chopping down the Redwoods

Day one of PLL Free Agency and FOUR(!) Redwoods players have changed teams. And all of them have been part of the 'Woods from season 1 of the PLL. Garett Epple and Sergio Perkovic were on the original ORIGINAL roster back in 2019. Timmy Troutner was part of the first rookie class for the Woods and the only goalie selected that year. While Jules Henningburg began his PLL career with the Whipsnakes, before being added by Coach Nat during a midseason trade. Now all four have departed for less green pastures, Jules and Perk are headed to the Carolina Chaos, Epple, reining defenseman of the year, is headed to Boston, and Timmy T is headed to New York to join the Atlas.

It's not all bad news for the 'Woods, they did manage to retain Romar Dennis as a free agent, but Coach/GM Nat will have some work to do to replace some of his sturdiest trees in the 'Woods.

In non Redwoods related news, Colin Heacock joins half of his old UMD Terps teammates by joining the Maryland Whipsnakes. If I could sing or supported the Whipsnakes I'd be shouting from the rooftops 'Reunited and it feels so good', but since I really cannot sing and I really really don't support the Whipsnakes it's just another Monday. Day 1 of PLL has been exciting to say the least.
