A relatively small injury list this week, but still some important names out unfortunately.

Surprise surprise I'm writing this week after and another Archers victory. That's nothing new this season. All year the Archers have won and they've done it in a variety of ways. Big wins, close games, defensive slug fests, offensive barn burners. It DON'T matter they just win.
They also make no changes this weekend and why would they? They keep winning.
Matt Moore college all-American attackman and two time national champion with UVA missing?? Just slot in one of Ohio State's top scorers of all time and former all-American, Canadian baller Tre Leclaire, who also happens to be capable of playing D-mid. It's an emberassment of riches for the Archers.
Some people might ask should the Archers rest some players? And my answer is no. If you have a fine tuned machine you don't let it sit around collecting dust and gaining rust. Let the men play. Plus with the number 1 seed all locked up that would be two weeks of no live action lacrosse, that seems like a bad idea.
Will this be the season the Archers finally reach the championship game and maybe win it all? If ever there was a season to do it this would be the one.

A rather hectic season for the Atlas, lots of 1 or 2 goal losses, a bunch of roster moves, a few injuries, but they're still here and can still make the playoffs if they win a against a hot Redwoods team or if they don't lose and if the Chrome don't win by any combination of goals that equals 18! Yeah 18 goals is a bunch, and it would be hard to see the Atlas lose by 10 and the Chrome win by 8.
With that said the Atlas only make one change this week SSDM Peter Dearth returns in place of his former Syracuse teammate M Brendan Curry.
Still only four tradition long poles for the Atlas, but once again Jake Richard will pick up a long pole. Coach Pressler must like the what he sees from this defensive unit because he' sticking with it for a third game in a row.
The two new pieces Molloy and Jones have both contributed and made some classic plays. Molloy question mark dodge from the wing, Jones down hill bull dodge from up top. Even with those additions it hasn't been enough for the Atlas.
The offense isn't the issue they're scored at least 11 goals every game this season. The issue is the defense, and more specifically the transition defense. If they could just get that figured out they might get a victory this week to end the regular season.

Still no Matt Kavangh for the Cannons as he's heeling up after his injury two weeks ago. Adam Charalambides played well in his place with 3 goals in the win over the Atlas last weekend.
Six poles this week for the Cannons Old Man Hartzell comes in for Jacob Pulver who's out with a groin strain. The rest of the poles are the same and Ethan Rall is up for ROTY and LSM of the year. Not a bad season for the undradted rookie.
What a turnaround season for the Cannos from one win last season to possibly going 7-3 and locking up the second seed in the playoffs.
The Cannons have a bunch of players nominated for awards this year, the Boom Squad is dare I say it... Booming.

THE BOYS ARE BACK! Chris Cloutier, Josh Byrne and Chase Fraser are all back for the Coach Towers and the Chaos. This trio has helped lead them to a championship and now they're back and hopefully healthy.
Will Perry, The Kurtz, Kevin Lindley, and Mike Adler are all off the roster for this week. The rest of the Chaos roster goes unchanged.
With the all Buffalo Bandit attack line, I'm expecting to see some amazing plays from this Chaos team as they could reach the Championship Series in the winter with a win by 5 and loses by the Whipsnakes and Woods.

The traded involving Jackson Morrill has had a ripple effect on the Chrome's roster.
This week they're using three LSMs and only two SSDMs. That means Will Haus gets dropped out the roster and Troy Hettinger gets dropped in. Runing with only two SSDMs seems strange for a team that most of the summer used for of them. Eli Salama plays with a short stick during the NLL season, so maybe we'll see him do that this weekend. Justin Anderson might also take some runs at D-mid for the Chrome.
Jesse King moves from midfield to attack to replace the recently traded Morrill.
The huge midfield lineup for the Chrome is back, and that means Cole Williams is back.
Mathematically, the Chrome have not been eliminated from the playoffs, they need to win and the Atlas to lose and the score difference has to equal at least 18 goals. So if the Chrome win by 10 and the Atlas lose by 8 or any combination that equals 18, the men in silver get to reach the playoffs. Not impossible, but improbable.

After the last two weekends of 'The Cardiac Cubs' winning in overtime in not sure how much more of this my heart can take. The good news is though the Redwoods won two games on the trot and controll their destiny into the top 4.
No changes for the Woods this weekend, will they end the season with a W?
Will John Sexton return during the playoffs or will coach Nat stick with the two young guns at LSM?

The Waterdogs only make one change from their victory over the Chaos last weekend. Jake Carraway is out and rookie Jeff Conner is in. Conner fits the Andy Copelan mold of versatile midfielder to a 'T'.
Two rookie long poles are part of the reserve roster this weekend for the Dawgs. Chris Fake has only played in one game this summer, but the Waterdogs have an excellent defense so who do you take out if you're coach Copelan...
Also another week without a faceoff athlete.

KYLE BERNLOHR IS BACK. Big news from theWhipsnakes goalie room. It appears that all star and starter Kyle Bernlohr has returned from his dislocated elbow and will be in the lineup for the Whips this weekend against the Cannons.
What's even more surprising is that Brendan Krebs isn't even on the 19 man active roster this week... he's part of the reserve roster. I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that move by coach Stagnita.
Jackson Morrill was traded to the Whips and he'll be running out of the box and rocking the number 3 jersey. Jersey numbers 0-5 are all being used by the Whips.
Keegan Khan gets the boot in place of Jackson Morrill, the rest of the Whips are unchanged from last weekend.
